Finding Heward Estate vineyard is simple. Just use the Google map below and you will have your
whole route presented to you in no time. Depending on which way you decide to come you will find us around an hour
away from Adelaide. If you come in through Mannum you will need to cross the Murray River. We have 2 ferries
operating at the Mannum crossing with one of them running 24 hours per day. The service is completely FREE and you
can expect to wait no more than a few minutes to get on. Long weekends and Public Holidays can get busy but as a
rule your free ferry ride will take around 7 minutes.
Heward Estate is in
the process of creating a free BBQ area on East Front Road where guests will be able to enjoy what is special
about our river. They will have available a free bbq and wood fired pizza oven and with prior arrangement,
tasting of wines and local produce. It is anticipated this area will be completed by Easter
2012.
Once you have crossed the river, turn left and we are 12 kilometres from the ferry. If you somehow
